So in a few hours we will officially be celebrating Dia de los Muertos! I have done Halloween for so many years that I wanted to skip today and go straight into this wonderful Mexican holiday. Though this holiday is celebrated to remember the dead I feel it also is about burying old grudges and remembering that this time on Earth is short so start appreciating those you would leave behind. Recently, this holiday has turned into a phenomenon with music, costumes, and lots of sugar skulls. I did this shoot using face tattoos and several floral headbands but not so much color since it still is Halloween and I wanted to at least pay homage to both holidays!
